The aim of this project
was to analyze how the proximity to the equator impacts weather changes. In order to
demonstrate this analysis, we queried in weather data of more than 500 cities from the
OpenWeatherMap API.
To perform a more methodological analysis we used matplotlib to organize and graph different data. We compared 4 factors against latitude. These factors were; max temperature, humidity, cloundiness and wind speed. Lastly, we gather all the data, explanations and visualizations from the analysis and displayed them on this website.
The Equator is situated at the 0° Latitude. The cities ranging below 0° to -90° latitude are situated on the sourthern latitude. The cities in the northern latitude are situated on the latitudes ranging above 0° to 90° latitude.
